WIPO: Twentieth Century Fox gewinnt Domain

Rechtzeitig zum Start des Kinofilms “Die SImpsons” hat die Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation vor dem Schiedsgericht der World Intellectual Property Organization WIPO die Domain thesimpsonsmovie.com erstritten.

Die Filmgesellschaft konnte zahlreiche Kennzeichenrechte an der Bezeichnung THE SIMPSONS und eine weltweite Bekanntheit der gleichnamigen Fernsehserie nachweisen.

Der in den USA ansässige Domaininhaber gab im Verfahren keine Stellungnahme ab und muss nun den Verlust der Domain verkraften.
